For fuck's sake, people, his first action as President was to bestow the highest possible honor upon a man directly responsible for the immeasurable suffering of Ugandan queers (and an untold number of dead Ugandan queers), yet I was a son of a bitch for pointing it out.
Besides, what was the big deal? After all, the people getting slaughtered were just a bunch of black savages in Africa. Who gives a fuck about them? Obama promised he was gonna let you get married. That's all that really mattered, right?
I have never been an ardent supporter of marriage (for anyone), so I am not devastated by this development. However, even if I was the director of Equality California, I would not be surprised. I don't have to say "I told ya so". Just read through this blog.

I had to gloat a bit too... maybe not as openly, but I won't judge. A lot of people were so confused and angry at my lack of support for Obama and, well, I don't even feel like I need to feel betrayed by it. It's that un-shocking.
