Today, Obama signed H.R. 2647 (the bill entitled, "To authorize appropriations for fiscal year 2010 for military activities of the Department of Defense, for military construction, and for defense activities of the Department of Energy, to prescribe military personnel strengths for such fiscal year, to provide special pays and allowances to certain members of the Armed Forces, expand concurrent receipt of military retirement and VA disability benefits to disabled military retirees, and for other purposes") into law. Below you can watch Certainly Not News' coverage of the signing ceremony charade:
As Chris Hedges wrote today at Truthdig, war IS a hate crime. Predictably, the HRC-sexuals are trying to rip him apart, limb by limb. The following is an excerpt from comments I left after his article at Truthdig:
I appeal to all anti-war cisgender heterosexual people who oppose Obama’s ongoing war crimes not to let this PR move mute your criticism of the bill he signed today. Yes, your criticism may anger some LGBT people. They will survive. However, many people in Afghanistan will not. Do not let the HRC-sexuals silence you!
Chris…I am glad you had the courage to write this post. No, make that relieved.
I do not know your sexual orientation. If you are straight, then I admire your courage even more.
My favorite part of the article is where Hedges proclaims,
The philosopher Theodor Adorno wrote, in words gay activists should have heeded, that exclusive preoccupation with personal concerns and indifference to the suffering of others beyond the self-identified group made fascism and the Holocaust possible.
“The inability to identify with others was unquestionably the most important psychological condition for the fact that something like Auschwitz could have occurred in the midst of more or less civilized and innocent people,” Adorno wrote. “What is called fellow traveling was primarily business interest: one pursues one’s own advantage before all else, and simply not to endanger oneself, does not talk too much. That is a general law of the status quo. The silence under the terror was only its consequence. The coldness of the societal monad, the isolated competitor, was the precondition, as indifference to the fate of others, for the fact that only very few people reacted. The torturers know this, and they put it to test ever anew.”
Of course, the HRC put up a website cheering about the new war crimes law. It is mindfuckingly entitled, Love Conquers Hate! Joe Solmonese, HRC's Dear Leader, was orgasmic over the passage of the war crimes bill. However, it seems that old Joe's PR handlers must have pulled him aside just before he made his public statement and smacked him upside the head really hard--I imagine it went down like this:
His PR stooges unfortunately forgot to remind him that gay is not the new black.
You can watch the Dear Leader's statement below. If you are eating, I advise you to wait until you are finished before watching it.
"Love" conquered "hate", Joe?
Why don't you take your happy ass over to Afghanistan and spread the word? It doesn't look like anyone has told them yet:

im trans so im not liked by tons of people, including GAYS, and im not standing up for HRC so I'm not liked by the majority of Trans people... the problem is that the "majority" of us is extremely tiny. I only know one other transsexual person in 'real-life' and she moved away.. could i really be such a nasty trans anarchist freak? am I insane?
